Kay is a writer, actor, director and acting coach, with a masters level degree in Education. Their experience includes stage, TV and film, voice-work, puppetry, mime, cabaret, drag shows, and editing of (sound and video).
TV and film credits include The Muppets and Spitting Image (a TV puppet satire show with two Emmy wins).
Theatre experience includes performance with London Playback Theatre, Pocket Theatre Cumbria, Hoxton Hall Theatre-in-Education
company, Professor Dogg's Troupe, The Entertainers, cabaret appearances as 'Mabellina Cliché, and stage
management and technician/roadie on tour with Dröse Norberg Productions.
In all workshops, they aim to raise awareness of assumptions around gender roles and to promote inclusion, in playful ways, with the aim of creating an atmosphere of safety and exploration, based on consent.
Kay is available as a guest teacher/consultant. Classes can be tailored to the needs of any specific group.
